hayley & Ant
Just before Christmas we headed down to London for Hayley and Ant's gorgeous city wedding. The snow had disappeared and actually the weather was pretty nice, if a little chilly. I met up with Hayley at the fantastic 'It's something hell's' hairdressers in Carnaby Street and watched as Hayley was transformed with the most wonderful 50's hair style (I cannot believe ladies used to do it all by themselves!). We then headed off in a taxi to the hotel where Hayley's bridesmaids were waiting wearing the most gorgeous red 50's style bridesmaid dresses! Make-up was done, champagne was sipped and then whilst Hayley got into her beautiful Fur Coat No Knickers dressed (honestly I love, love, love those girls!) her little girl Audrey and the rest of her bridesmaids came in wearing gorgeous little red dresses with an added bit of sparkle :)
Finally once everyone was ready we headed up to The Trafalgar Tavern... a huge venue right on the water in Greenwich... I quickly caught up with Ant who was wearing a fantastic suit along with an orange tie (his favourite colour).
The ceremony was beautiful looking out onto the water and once they became Mr and Mrs everyone enjoyed canopes and drinks whilst I stole the Bride and Groom for some photos before the sun went down.
Dinner was served in the beautiful hall and the evenings celebrations kicked off with the all of the guests having a good old sing song of Christmas songs round the piano, which I must admit was pretty emotional to listen to... just that many people singing is so lovely to hear.
The evening was finished off with the photo booth and some more singing - this time 'Happy Birthday' to the Mother of the Bride!
A wonderful day was had by all and it was so lovely to have Christmas so close... Hayley and Ant, hope you had the best day and you and little Audrey make the most gorgeous little family. I really want to say Merry Christmas!!
Wanted to add this little video of the Christmas Carols... it was only on my iPhone but it's so lovely... makes you feel all warm and fuzzy :)
