lynsay & mat
Not really sure where to start with Lynsay and Mat? The cutest couple around maybe? The most adorable wedding? So easy to hang out with... well all of the above..
Lynsay (who runs Studio Belle - wonderful wedding stationery!) is one of my bride's who I feel like I've known for years even before we met. Emails back and forth with a few 'Eeek's and 'squeals' meant that turning up on the day and seeing her gorgeous fifties dress, her birdcage veil and how much tea this girl could drink.. we were, of course, going to get on famously.
I arrived at Wytham Village hall and was greeted with the most beautiful outdoor ceremony with the most gorgeous red and aqua colour scheme.. actually before I go any further I have to mention Lynsay's bouquet! The girl made it herself out of fabric!!... not flowers.. fabric!!! It was amazing and also red and aqua.. sorry, anyway, back to the ceremony.. guests were treated to some live music whilst Mat waited patiently for his bride to arrive...
The ceremony was beautiful with the most wonderful Registrars and once declared husband and wife guests were free to head to the pub whilst parents set up the cutest afternoon tea inside the village hall... I also got to sneak the couple off to the woods for some portraits too!
Scones and cucumber sandwiches were served with a huge array of homemade cakes and of course.. a lot of tea! Everyone then headed outside to enjoy the afternoon sun which included a quick rescue of a ball from the roof by the groom!
The evening was filled with music, the photo booth and oh my god the best pies I've ever tasted! Mat works at a fantastic pub in London and if you get the chance.. GO.. they sell THE pies...
Lynsay and Mat... thank you so, so much for letting us share your most wonderful day with you... we loved you both a silly amount and had the best day... congratulations Mr and Mrs Tea! ;)
