Lauren and Andy are the sweetest couple.. I first met them over a year ago when we had breakfast together in Covent Garden (they bought me boiled eggs!) and then we met up again more recently to shoot their Engagement shoot. They are sweet, easy going, beautiful and totally in love. I was pretty excited to be shooting their wedding for all of those reasons alone but then Lauren mentioned that she had a dress from the gorgeous girls at Fur Coat No Knickers and that they were getting married at One Marylebone and I was pretty much in heaven.
The day arrived and I met Andy and friends and family in the pub opposite and already we were all realising that it was going to be a lovely sunny day! We then headed over to One Marylebone where I found Lauren getting ready with her Mum and her Sister. Lauren got in to her beautiful FurCoatNoKnickers dress with gorgeous Laboutins and the most beautiful feathered headpiece whilst her guests were welcomed by baby buckets of popcorn and cute little bottles of babycham.
The ceremony was to be performed by Andy's American Uncle and as Andy nervously stood waiting.. Lauren appeared and the ceremony began... relaxed, heartwarming and humorous and then a final kiss to announce the new married couple!
Once they had said hello to all of their guests we headed over to Regents Park for some photos (kind of forgetting that a hot Saturday would mean it would be packed!) and then headed back for a gorgeous speech by Andy (including some tears...) and then everyone sat down on the most amazingly long and beautifully decorated wedding table! Food was eaten and more speeches followed and then as the sun slowly disappeared outside our windows the night started with the most fantastic photo booth, cocktails and some dancing (along with a great projected montage of clips of famous dancing scenes from films on the wall)
Lauren and Andy.. thank you for letting us share your beautiful day... you guys are just so made for each other and are an absolute pleasure to hang out with.. lets do breakfast some time again... :)
